Job Title: Geotechnical Report Coordinator

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job description

  • Assist in compiling, preparing, and reviewing of technical and project reports.
  • Verify the accuracy of data from field and laboratory activities.
  • Coordinate with project engineers and other team members for report inputs.
  • Maintain organized records of reports, revisions, and approvals.
  • Support timely submission of reports and project documentation, ensuring compliance with company and client standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Geology or applied geophysics.
  • Minimum of a second-class lower degree from a reputable institution.
  • 3-5 years’ experience working as a geotechnical report writer with proficiency in geotechnical engineering analysis and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Coordinate and manage the submission of Geotechnical reports in a timely manner.
  • Familiarity with basic geological computer programmes designed specifically for analysing samples using geological data.
  • Prepare and submit detailed, accurate and periodic weekly field reports that summarize all site activities, observations, obstacles and resolution.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities approaching them with logic and reasoning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for team-based working.
  • Exceptional analytical, mechanical, and organizational skills required for our constantly evolving environment.
  • Proven time management skills, able to work under pressure and a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong research capabilities and a willingness to learn new analytical tests, and procedures.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges.
  • Able to prioritize effectively, balance assigned task.
  • Knowledge in geological and geotechnical interpretation with understanding of geological origin and processes.

Benefits

  • Salary: N200,000 - N250,000 / month.
  • Employees are entitled to daily transportation allowance to site.
  • 13th month salary, appraisal bonuses, project completion bonuses (subjective), leave allowances, pension remittance, standard HMO.
