Description

• The Tropicana Tourism Institution (TTI) at La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort is seeking an experienced Site Maintenance Engineer to oversee the upkeep, functionality, and operational efficiency of the resort’s facilities.
• This role is crucial to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and world-class environment for guests, staff, and trainees while supporting TTI’s training programs in facility operations and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for all resort facilities, including buildings, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and landscaping infrastructure.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address operational issues, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise maintenance staff, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality work and timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain maintenance records, equipment logs, and inventory of spare parts and tools.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers during renovations, upgrades, and new construction projects.
• Implement energy efficiency and sustainability practices across the resort’s infrastructure.
• Support hands-on training for TTI participants in facility maintenance, technical troubleshooting, and safety protocols.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in site/facility maintenance engineering, preferably in resort, hotel, or large-scale property operations.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Proven experience in supervising teams, managing vendors, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
