Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Laboratory Technician to support laboratory operations by conducting tests, preparing samples, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation of results.
• The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable, professional, and able to work efficiently in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect and prepare samples for laboratory testing
• Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure cleanliness of the work area
• Record and analyze test results accurately
• Follow safety and infection control procedures
• Assist in inventory management and restocking laboratory supplies
• Ensure compliance with laboratory standards and regulations
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
• Relevant certification or license is an added advantage
• Previous experience in a laboratory setting is preferred
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and pay attention to detail
• Basic computer knowledge.

Salary
N120,000 per month.
