Description
- ACO Nigeria is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Engineer to join our growing renewable energy team.
- The ideal candidate will lead the planning, execution, installation, commissioning, and delivery of engineering and solar energy projects while ensuring quality, safety, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects from material preparation through installation, commissioning, and final handover.
- Ensure projects are delivered within approved timelines and project schedules.
- Maintain compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, and engineering standards.
- Lead and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and installation activities.
- Monitor project progress and maintain accurate technical and project documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders for smooth project execution.
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE and operational best practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across project operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field.
- 5 - 7 years of experience in project execution, installation, commissioning, or engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical standards.
- Experience in site supervision and technical troubleshooting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation tools.
- Professional certifications will be an added advantage.
