Job Title: Plumber
Location: Gboko Plant, Benue
Job Summary
- Execution of all emergencies and planned belt vulcanizing activities in the plant.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Repair and replacement of damaged belt conveyors
- Carrying out routine inspection of conveyors
- Production of short endless belts and weigh feeders
- Ensuring that worn our idlers, laggings, are identified and replaced
- Ability to make cold, hot and clipped joints
Education and Work Experience
- WASC/GCE/SSCE +15 years’ experience
- TTII + 10 years’ experience
- TT1 + 5 years’ experience
- OND in relevant discipline.
Skills and Competencies:
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge of belt vulcanizing work and principles
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
