Job Title: Secondary Mathematics Teacher

Responsibilities

• Design and implement engaging and comprehensive mathematics lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and instructional guidelines.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages active participation and academic growth.
• Utilize a variety of instructional techniques, resources, and technology to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback to support individualized learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies, interdisciplinary projects, and extracurricular activities.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in mathematics education and integrate relevant technological tools and applications into the curriculum.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches.
• Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and guardians to support their educational journey and foster a positive school-home partnership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary school level.
• A strong practicing Spirit-filled Christian, with a deep commitment to Christian values and principles.
• Profound knowledge of mathematics concepts, theories, and problem-solving strategies.
• Passion for education and a genuine interest in inspiring students to develop mathematical reasoning and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that supports academic growth and personal development.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology and digital resources to enhance mathematics instruction.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest pedagogical practices and mathematical advancements.
