Samsung Heavy Industries Nigeria (SHIN) is a key player in Nigeria's oil and gas and maritime industries, serving as the prime African subsidiary of the global shipbuilding giant, Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) of Korea. Established in August 2011, SHIN has afabrication and integration yard in Lagos.This facility is notable as Africa's first-ever and only Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) integration yard.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Marketing Manager (Website & Growth Focus)

Location: United Kingdom (Remote)
Employment Type: Full-time
Location Details: UK hours - aligned with 9am - 5pm

Job Description

  • You'll take ownership of website performance and optimisation for a fast-moving digital business, working closely with developers and leadership to improve user experience, conversion rates, and overall digital performance.
  • This is a hands-on, technical marketing role suited to someone who is highly task-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating at the intersection of marketing and web development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimise website performance across UX, user journeys, and conversion rate optimisation (CRO)
  • Analyse user behaviour and performance data using analytics tools
  • Implement and continuously improve technical SEO strategies
  • Collaborate with developers to scope and deliver website improvements
  • Identify and execute opportunities to increase conversion rates
  • Monitor and report on key website and marketing performance metrics

Requirements

  • Fluent in English — written and spoken
  • Strong hands-on experience in UX and user journey optimisation
  • Proven experience in Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)
  • Proficient with analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics or similar)
  • Solid understanding of technical SEO
  • Experience working directly with web developers to implement changes
  • Highly task-oriented and execution-focused
  • Strong communicator — clear, proactive, and reliable
  • Coachable, adaptable, and growth-minded

What We're Looking For:

  • Someone who takes ownership and drives results without needing to be micromanaged
  • Comfortable working at the technical end of marketing — close to the product and the development team
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities and acting on them quickly
  • A strong communicator who keeps stakeholders informed and aligned

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Webflow
  • Experience with Airtable.

Salary
£650 - £1950 / Month.
