Job Title: English Subject Teacher

Location: Abbi, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• The English Teacher will plan, prepare, and deliver instructions in English in accordance with the Nigerian National Policy for Primary Education and regulations of AJC Primary School.
• The teacher will cover effectively and efficiently every item in the scheme of work in use in the school while also teaching the students all they need to know in everyday life in relation to English.
• Over and above all, every teacher is a role model to the students.

Qualifications

• B.A in English.
• Any higher degree or qualification, especially in the field of English, is an advantage.
• TRCN, PGDE and other educational qualifications.

Experience:

• At least 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role. Any other experience relating to English is an advantage.

Personal Qualities:

• Effective communication and presentation skills, good command of the English Language, good understanding of adolescent psychology, good interpersonal skills, a team player, ability to work effectively with minimum supervision, proficiency in the use of office suites like Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
