We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mechanical Technician (HDD)

Location: Delta, and Rivers (South-South, Nigeria)
Industry: Oil and Gas

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Horizontal Directional Drilling rigs, mud pumps, and associated heavy machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical faults in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and drilling equipment.
• Conduct troubleshooting and repair of gearboxes, bearings, and rotating equipment.
• Ensure all mechanical maintenance activities comply with HSE standards and company policies.
• Maintain accurate service records and parts inventory for mechanical components.

Requirements

• Diploma or Trade Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in HDD or heavy construction.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and drilling equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Valid certifications (e.g., Trade Test, HSE) are an advantage.
