We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Production Manager
Location: Ogere Remo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of laboratory policies, administration, and management systems.
- Manage and maintain effective documentation systems for all operational processes.
- Monitor, report, and address deviations as well as non-compliance issues in line with established standards.
- Ensure strict implementation and enforcement of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles across all production activities.
- Supervise adherence to NAFDAC GMP standards within approved production facilities (floor plan available upon request).
- Coordinate and execute weekly production planning activities.
- Manage inventory levels for concentrates, packaging materials, and related supplies.
- Drive research and development initiatives to support product and process improvement.
- Supervise production operations to ensure compliance with established procedures and quality standards.
- Conduct process and method validation to ensure operational efficiency and product integrity.
- Organize and deliver training, including on-the-job coaching for production staff on GMP and safety requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve operational objectives.
- Manage projects related to the backward integration of veterinary pharmaceutical products.
Requirements
Academic Qualifications:
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
- Candidates must be between 30 and 35 years of age.
- Open to both male and female applicants.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant work experience.
- Prior experience in a livestock or pharmaceutical company will be an added advantage.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Sound knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, with the ability to ensure compliance.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with capacity to influence and drive team performance.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
- High level of resilience with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Adaptability and flexibility in responding to organizational changes.
