Job Title: Junior Agronomist

Role Overview
- As a Junior Agronomist, you will support the agronomy and crop science operations of the greenhouse.
- The role involves assisting with crop nutrition, irrigation strategies, pest & disease management, and ensuring sustainable and profitable production.
- Collaborating closely with the Lead Agronomist to help drive efficiencies using data collected to optimize yield and crop quality in a hydroponic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with the Lead Agronomist to support the planning and execution of crop cycles for Tomatoes & Bell Peppers.
- Maintain detailed records and provide regular reports on crop progress, challenges, and recommendations.
- Assist in implementing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies to minimize crop loss.
- Collaborate with Growers and operations staff to ensure consistency in crop management.
- Stay informed about modern agronomy and hydroponic research trends.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Crop Science, Plant Science, Crop Production, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of crop production, soil management, plant nutrition, and pest control.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage with growers and stakeholders.
- 1-2 years of proven experience working on a farm/greenhouse, preferably with tomatoes and bell peppers.
- Ability to make strong observations to collect, interpret, and report data for decision-making.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
