We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Facility Manager

Location: Ikota - Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

The Role

  • The Facility Manager will ensure that our work environment is safe, functional, clean, and welcoming for staff, clients, and visitors alike. You will be the point person for all things related to building maintenance, vendor management, office logistics, and space utilization.
  • The ideal candidate is an excellent coordinator, a tough negotiator with vendors, and a quick problem-solver when structural or utility issues arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee the daily maintenance, cleanliness, and overall presentation of the office premises.
  • Vendor & Contractor Management: Sourced, negotiate with, and supervise third-party vendors (cleaning services, security personnel, technicians, and repair crews) to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Utilities & Asset Management: Manage the maintenance of critical office infrastructure, including power supply (generators/solar), HVAC systems, plumbing, and corporate assets. Maintain an accurate inventory of office equipment.
  • Health, Safety & Security: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Regularly inspect facilities to eliminate hazards and oversee the efficiency of security protocols.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control: Monitor facility expenses, review maintenance contracts, and find cost-effective solutions for repairs and routine upkeep without compromising quality.
  • Space Planning: Manage office layouts and sitting arrangements to optimize productivity, especially within a hybrid workforce environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Estate Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., IFMA) are an added advantage.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in facility management, estate management, or a similar operations-focused corporate role.
  • Vendor Management Skills: Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills to manage diverse contractors and suppliers effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Highly resourceful with the ability to think on your feet and resolve utility or structural issues rapidly.
  • Organization: Strong project management and multitasking abilities, with an eye for structural and aesthetic details.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 per month.
