Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support daily financial operations within our NGO.
- The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, budgeting, reconciliation, tax management, payroll, donor funding reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Prepare basic financial reports and support audits
- Monitor expenses and ensure proper cost tracking
- Support inventory and sales reconciliation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good analytical and communication skills
- ICAN certification is an added advantage.
