Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Ilupeju, Lagos

Role Summary
- As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and availability of production and utility equipment through preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.
- You will support manufacturing operations by minimizing equipment downtime, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on production and utility equipment.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues before they result in operational downtime.
- Carry out routine inspections and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, HVAC systems, compressors, generators, and other utility systems.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, spare parts usage, and equipment performance records accurately.
- Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in compliance with cGMP, safety, and company procedures.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation activities.
- Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to ensure equipment readiness and operational efficiency.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring equipment failures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- OND qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, FMCG, or manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and maintenance documentation practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and electrical schematics.
