Job Title: Internal Control Officer
Location: Ijesha, Lagos

Job Summary
- The Internal Control officer is to ensure full compliance to company’s policies, processes, and other governing external regulations, which in turn will guarantee operational efficiency and safeguard of the company’s assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing all reports for accuracy and correctness and endorse for approval.
- Overseeing financial reconciliations as may be required from time to time.
- Reviewing and vetting of staff salaries for accuracy& correctness, endorse for approval.
- Conducting call-up reviews on transactions posted in the finance department.
- Following up with approved recommendations for corrective and preventive actions as may be directed by the management to ensure compliance.
- Sighting inbound & outbound Items and prepare sighted report.
- Carrying out investigations on matters & issues that arises & making necessary recommendations.
- Carrying out audit & spot check on activities and departments to ensure compliance.
- Participate in quarterly stock taking exercise.
- Handling complaints from customers and staff members.
- Issuing Cheques.
- Any other duties as assigned by the head of internal control.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 experience in internal control/ audit, Finance,
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems is advantageous.
Salary
N150,000 per month
