Job Title: Business Intelligence Associate

Description

  • We are currently hiring a Business Intelligence Associate who will partner with business divisions to understand analytics needs, build data models, and create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Working with large datasets in SQL and Python, they ensure data quality, extract actionable insights, and communicate them clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with the ability to translate complex data into business value and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

As a Business Intelligence Associate, you will do the following:

  • Work with stakeholders to identify data analytics needs for different business units
  • Use data software tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar to develop reports and dashboards
  • Perform complex data modelling and design effective data analysis methodologies
  • Report findings to internal stakeholders and partner with cross-functional (XFN) teams to identify business improvement opportunities
  • Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to extract and communicate insights
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues
  • Support and train end users on data exploration and self-service analytics
  • Promote a data-driven culture across the organization
  • Perform data profiling to detect anomalies and trends
  • Conduct statistical analysis and apply techniques such as classification, clustering, regression, and time series
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy laws in all analytics processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering) or related disciplines
  • 2 - 3 years' experience in data analytics, BI, or data science roles
  • Strong experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other business analytics and visualization tools
  • Proficiency in Python and key data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
  • Advanced SQL skills for querying and managing large datasets
  • Strong grasp of data modelling techniques and statistical analysis
  • Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven experience working within product-focused cross-functional teams
  • Ability to translate analytical findings into product and business strategy recommendations.
