Job Title: Breathing Apparatus Speacialist

Job Description

• We are seeking to employ a seasoned BA Specialist to safeguard our people and operations across live project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and test breathing apparatus (BA) equipment.
• Support confined space entries, standby rescue, and breathing air deployments.
• Operate and maintain SCBA, EEBD, airline systems. and compressors.
• Diagnose, repair, and test equipment performance.
• Perform breathing air quality checks and linder inspections
• Maintain accurate maintenance and certification logs
• Ensure adherence to HSE, permit-to-work, and client safety standards
• Identify and report equipment defects, unsafe conditions, and operational risks.
• Support emergency response and rescue equipment readiness.

Requirements

• Degree, HND, or equivalent in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation) or related field.
• 3+ years in breathing apparatus servicing or industrial safety (Oil & Cas/Marine preferred)
• Experience with SCBA EEBD, airline systems, or compressors.
• Basic knowledge of confined space entry, gas testing, and valid HSE certification
• Manufacturer certification (eg. Dräger, MSA, Scott Safety)
• Strong troubleshooting, reporting, and communication skills.
• Available for onshore, offshore, and industrial project deployment.
