Job Title: Janitor

Location: Iganmu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Janitor to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety within industrial facilities.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning production areas, offices, restrooms, warehouses, and other assigned spaces while properly operating cleaning equipment and following company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and sanitize floors and surfaces
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, polishing machines, and pressure washers
• Clean restrooms, offices, production areas, warehouses, and common areas
• Empty waste bins and dispose of trash properly
• Dust furniture, equipment, and fixtures
• Refill cleaning and hygiene supplies when needed
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and according to company procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of industrial machines and work areas
• Report any cleaning equipment faults before and after use when necessary
• Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times
• Support general cleaning duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE qualification
• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is an advantage
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machines is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
• Good physical strength and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Punctual, disciplined, and reliable

Work Conditions:

• Ability to stand for long hours
• May involve lifting, bending, and operating cleaning equipment
• Shift work and overtime may be required
