We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Internal Auditor

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary 

  • We are looking for a rigorous and analytical Internal Auditor to oversee risk management, credit policy compliance, and financial controls for our lending operations in Ikeja.

Quick Overview

  • Credit & Loan Auditing: Review pre- and post-disbursement files, NPL classifications, and collateral documentation.
  • Financial Controls: Audit daily transactions, treasury operations, and expense approvals to prevent financial leakages.
  • Fraud & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to CBN and AML/CFT guidelines; lead independent fraud investigations.
  • Reporting: Develop annual risk-based audit plans and present objective findings to the Audit Committee.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree/HND in Accounting/Finance + ACA/ACCA certification.
  • Experience: 3 – 5 years of internal audit experience specifically within a Fintech, Microfinance Bank, or Lending institution.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of credit risk frameworks, loan management software, and regulatory compliance.
