Job Description

• This is a fully remote position, built for a self-motivated visual storyteller who can transform raw footage into premium, high-impact video content.
• The ideal candidate understands pacing, sound design, and visual dynamics across various digital formats, ranging from snappy social media reels and TikToks to polished corporate videos, YouTube edits, and commercial advertisements.

Key Responsibilities

• Video Editing & Post-Production: Assemble raw footage, cut sequences, and edit high-quality videos that align perfectly with the creative brief, brand identity, and target audience.
• Social Optimization: Create highly engaging short-form content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) optimized for pacing, retention loops, and specific platform dimensions.
• Audio & Sound Design: Select, clean, and mix background audio, voiceovers, and sound effects (SFX) to enhance the emotional impact and clarity of every video.
• Motion Graphics & Effects: Integrate text overlays, accurate captions, color grading, smooth transitions, and basic motion graphics to elevate production value.
• Media Management: Organize, back up, and maintain digital assets and project files in a streamlined cloud-storage system for easy team collaboration.
• Feedback & Iteration: Collaborated remotely with content creators, marketers, and directors to implement constructive feedback and revisions smoothly.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Degree or diploma in Film/Media Studies, Visual Arts, Communication, or equivalent practical/professional certifications.
• Experience:3+ years of proven experience as a Video Editor (in-house, agency, or high-volume freelance).
• Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in industry-standard editing software, specifically Adobe Premiere ProorFinal Cut Proalongside tools like CapCut (for rapid short-form creation) and After Effects (basic motion graphics).
• Remote Infrastructure: Must possess a high-performance editing computer/laptop, a highly reliable high-speed internet connection, and a dependable power solution to meet strict delivery deadlines.
• Artistic Vision: A deep understanding of visual storytelling rhythms, timing, color correction, and current social media video trends.
