Job Overview
- We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Audit Associate to join its growing team. The firm serves clients across diverse sectors, including fintech, energy, logistics, manufacturing, and technology.
- The successful candidate will play a key role in executing audit engagements, assessing financial and operational controls, identifying potential risks, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements.
- Examine financial statements, accounting records, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Evaluate internal controls and identify areas of risk, inefficiencies, or process gaps.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive audit working papers and documentation.
- Conduct data analysis to support audit findings and recommendations.
- Participate in inventory verification exercises, cash counts, and operational audits where required.
- Assist in preparing audit reports and presenting findings to management.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to obtain relevant information and documentation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in auditing, accounting, compliance, or a related finance function.
- Strong understanding of auditing principles, internal controls, and financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Relevant professional certification such as ICAN (or equivalent) is required.
