Job Title: Technician - Linesmate

Location: Lagos (with oversight of other regions based on company operations)

Role Purpose

• We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician – Linesmate to join our Operations & Services team.
• The successful candidate will contribute to preventive and planned maintenance schedules for the distribution network, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with company standards.

Key Accountabilities

• Execute operation & maintenance procedures in line with company policies.
• Diagnose and resolve network faults, preventing recurrence in substations.
• Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical instruments/testing equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to solve technical problems.
• Conduct inspections for quality control and assurance programs.
• Visit transformer sub-station sites, resolve issues, and maintain site tidiness.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management System & Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
• Perform additional functions as assigned to support departmental objectives.

Minimum Requirements

• SSCE / GCE / NECO / NABTEB or equivalent with credit passes in five science subjects (including English & Mathematics).
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Age: Not more than 35 years old.
