We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Auditor

Location: Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Auditor will be responsible for conducting internal audits across the organization'soperations to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, identify risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute internal audit assignments across allthe organization'soutlets and departments
  • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and governance frameworks
  • Identify areas of financial irregularity, waste, or fraud and report findings to management
  • Review financial statements, operational records, and processes for accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, risk ratings, and actionable recommendations
  • Follow up on previously identified audit findings to ensure corrective actions are implemented
  • Assist in developing and updating audit policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required
  • Support management with ad hoc financial investigations when needed

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • ACA, ACCA, or CISA certification (or in progress) is an advantage
  • 5 – 7 years experience in internal or external audit
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, Nigerian tax laws, and audit standards
  • Experience in retail, food service, or FMCG audit is highly desirable
  • Excellent analytical, investigative, and report-writing skills
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems).
