Job Title: Field Auditor

Location: Suleja, Niger
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • A Field Auditor is responsible for overseeing operational integrity, stock control, security compliance, infrastructure standards, IT governance, financial controls, and health & safety practices across assigned depot locations.
  • The role ensures strict adherence to company policies, internal control procedures, and regulatory standards while driving operational efficiency and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities
Operations:

  • Monitor number and deployment of Motorbike and Van Representatives.
  • Ensure field reps are properly kitted in approved company dress code.
  • Track attendance, resumption times, and market departure / return patterns.
  • Monitor compliance with DSD separation policies.
  • Verify LPO issuance before sales execution.
  • Ensure mobile trader registers are properly maintained.
  • Assess stock keeper punctuality and operational discipline.

Stock Control & Inventory Governance:

  • Ensure system-generated waybills (Dynamics / POS) are properly issued and archived.
  • Confirm signing of waybills (3 copies) by reps and security.
  • Monitor documentation in Stock Movement Book.
  • Enforce compliance with the 3-Key policy.
  • Ensure daily stock card reconciliation by Stock Keeper.
  • Verify adherence to stock return processes.
  • Confirm proper separation of:
    • Returned stock
    • Key account returns
    • Damaged & expired stock (tagged Not for Sale)
  • Ensure damaged / expired stock is booked in Dynamics.
  • Verify proper stacking, gangway spacing, and pallet / rack usage.

Security & Control Systems:

  • Ensure guards document all vehicle and personnel movement.
  • Assess guards’ understanding of SKU units of measurement.
  • Confirm guards capture promo stock releases.
  • Monitor alarm systems, CCTV functionality, and burglary protection.
  • Evaluate additional responsibilities performed by guards.
  • Verify compliance with access control and reporting lines.

Infrastructure & Facility Management:

  • Inspect electrification, distribution boards, and earthing systems.
  • Evaluate flooring condition and building integrity.
  • Confirm presence of parking shed for motorbikes.
  • Check ventilation systems (Fans / Air conditioners).
  • Identify structural defects, broken fixtures, or security vulnerabilities.

IT & Systems Compliance:

  • Confirm availability and condition of:
    • Computers, printers, UPS, inverters, solar systems.
  • Ensure antivirus subscriptions are up to date.
  • Verify limited user account controls are enforced.
  • Confirm required software installations (POS, drivers, system tools).
  • Assess Stock Keeper’s proficiency in Dynamics usage.

Finance & Asset Control:

  • Ensure Fixed Asset Register is maintained and updated.
  • Verify documentation accuracy and audit trail integrity.
  • Monitor stock movement records for discrepancies.

EHS (Environment, Health & Safety):

  • Confirm availability and adequacy of First Aid kits.
  • Ensure fire extinguishers are accessible and staff trained.
  • Monitor strict adherence to No Smoking policy.
  • Confirm emergency exits and safety signage.
  • Assess depot cleanliness and routine cleaning schedules.
  • Identify immediate safety or environmental concerns.
  • Evaluate staff health & safety awareness levels.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Compliance score per depot.
  • Reduction in stock variance.
  • Improvement in rep punctuality metrics.
  • Zero critical audit findings.
  • Asset register accuracy.
  • Security incident reduction rate.
  • EHS compliance rate.

Requirements
Required Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and stock control.
  • Internal control and audit expertise.
  • Proficiency in ERP / POS systems (e.g., Dynamics).
  • Risk assessment and compliance monitoring.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Leadership and cross-functional coordination ability.

Salary
N100,000 - N110,000 per month.
