Description

  • Provide adequate maintenance and good operation of all HVAC equipment/machinery ensuring adequate environmental conditioning and process cooling within stipulated internal and external standards.

Key Responsibilities
Asset Management & Documentation:

  • Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all HVAC assets requiring engineering intervention.
  • Ensure all HVAC equipment is properly registered in the asset register and aligned with MMS/CMMS records.
  • Ensure newly installed assets are duly registered, coded, and labeled appropriately.
  • Ensure all asset devices have corresponding P&IDs through coordination with the drafting team.

Maintenance & Performance Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of all HVAC asset maintenance activities.
  • Develop and track asset performance KPIs and generate periodic reports for management review.
  • Establish and manage a monitoring system based on engineering needs and KPIs.
  • Implement a robust maintenance system for all HVAC equipment.

Audit & Compliance:

  • Set up and manage an audit system (e.g., Blueprint Maintenance Scan) to ensure adherence to procedures.
  • Ensure user activities comply with asset management standards and procedures.
  • Monitor and report exceptions within CMMS systems.

Projects & Continuous Improvement:

  • Participate in multidisciplinary engineering and improvement projects.
  • Support implementation of maintenance and reliability improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated on developments in HVAC technology and recommend improvements.
  • Actively contribute to Planned Maintenance Pillar activities.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Liaise with external service providers, contractors, and technical partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across engineering, operations, and maintenance.

Health & Safety:

  • Observe, report, and support resolution of safety incidents.
  • Ensure all activities comply with FrieslandCampina’s safety standards and policies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HVAC systems, maintenance engineering, or asset management within FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Experience working with CMMS/MMS/AMS systems and asset lifecycle management tools.
  • Proven experience in maintenance planning, asset tracking, and performance monitoring.

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, maintenance strategies, and reliability practices.
  • Experience managing asset registers, KPIs, and maintenance records.
  • Ability to design and implement monitoring systems and audit frameworks.
  • Good understanding of P&IDs, asset coding, and engineering documentation.
  • Familiarity with Planned Maintenance Pillar and continuous improvement methodologies.
