Job Title: Legal Manager

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

• The Legal Counsel at FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc will execute the Company’s Legal agenda through innovative global legal strategies.
• This position of Legal Counsel involves the continuous provision of timely and effective legal interventions by ensuring that FrieslandCampina's global legal structures are adopted and executed within peculiar yet dynamic business environments.
• Additionally, this role will include stakeholder relations and management with necessary third parties, as well as upholding the Code of Ethics at both internal and external levels.
• Moreover, the Legal Counsel shall support the Company Secretary in delivering legal and company secretarial functions.

What we Ask

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); BL from Nigerian Law School is required.
• Minimum of 7 years post-call experience, preferably within FMCG, manufacturing, or a reputable law firm.
• Strong experience in commercial law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven track record in contract negotiation and dispute resolution.
• In-house legal experience within a multinational organization is an advantage.
• Membership in relevant professional bodies is an added advantage.
