Job Description

  • We are seeking to employ a compassionate, skilled, and patient-focused Registered Nurse and Midwife to provide high-quality nursing care and support to patients.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering treatments and medications, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Job Summary

  • Provide quality nursing care to patients.
  • Administer medications and prescribed treatments.
  • Monitor and document patient conditions.
  • Assist physicians during procedures and emergencies.
  • Educate patients and families on healthcare management.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and health conditions, documenting observations accurately.
  • Administer medications, injections, intravenous infusions, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and medical emergencies.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and health management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and nursing documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and infection prevention protocols.
  • Respond promptly to patient needs, emergencies, and changes in health conditions.
  • Collect and process laboratory specimens as required.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain medical equipment and ensure proper use of healthcare resources.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, training programs, and continuous professional development activities.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and professional nursing ethics at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • RN and RM or any other specialty with Valid Nursing Practicing License.
  • Computer literacy.
  • NYSC certificate is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle emergency situations.
  • Strong attention to detail, empathy, and professionalism.

  • N200,000 - N250,000 Monthly
