We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Occupational Health Intern

Location: Benin, Edo
Employment Type: Internship

Summary

  • We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Occupational Health Intern to support our Occupational Health team in promoting workplace health, safety, and employee well-being.
  • The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in occupational health practices, employee wellness initiatives, workplace safety monitoring, and health administration.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing occupational health and workplace safety programs.
  • Support employee health assessments and medical surveillance activities.
  • Maintain occupational health records and ensure proper documentation.
  • Assist in identifying and reporting workplace hazards and risks.
  • Participate in health promotion and wellness initiatives.
  • Support incident and injury reporting processes.
  • Assist with occupational health training and awareness programs.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the Occupational Health unit.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or current enrollment in Physiology.

Experience:

  • Previous internship, volunteer, or healthcare-related experience is an added advantage but not mandatory.
  • Fresh graduates and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

Other Requirements:

  • Strong interest in occupational health and workplace safety.
  • Professional attitude and ethical conduct.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and multidisciplinary environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to organizational procedures.
  • Availability to complete the internship period.
