Ladkem Eye Hospital (A Subsidiary of Ladkem Nigeria Limited with CAC Registration No - RC: 116348) is a specialist hospital, fully registered with Lagos State Private Hospital Registration Authority with Registration Number: LSPHRA / VIII / 99 / 12. The Hospital was founded on the basis of total quality management in eye care delivery services and has been providing excellent eye care services delivery to Nigerians and Foreigners alike since its inception over twenty years ago. As one of the health care providers under the National Health Insurance Scheme, we provide secondary health care services in the area of Ophthalmology and Optometry and currently have service provision agreements with some Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO’s).

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical / Health Records Officer

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Requirements

• Must possess a BSc or an HND in Health Records and Information Management
• Must have a valid Professional Registration and Practicing License from the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria
• Must have completed his/her National Youth Services Corps program;
• Must accurately register, manage and maintain patients information in both electronic and physical format
• Must ensures compliance with the NHMIS daily general attendance
• Must maintain confidentiality of patient health information
• Must ensure regular update of patients information
• Must ensure easy access and retrieval of patient data as required
• Must support the hospital data and reporting needs by ensuring timely and monthly submission of medical records report to the Chief Operating Officer
• Must work closely with other departments to delivery exceptional customer services to the customer
• Must be computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite;
• Must be teachable and courteous,
• Must be resident in Surulere or its environs.
