Azuks Works Consult is a registered brand that provides consulting services related to real estate agency and recruitment. The brand is using her platform to outsource for a leading Manufacting brand to fill her man power need required for her operation.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Analyst Microbiologist

Location: Sango, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Core Responsibilities

  • Sample Testing: Conduct routine microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods to detect bacteria, yeast, mold, and pathogens.
  • Environmental Monitoring: Routinely collect and analyze surface swabs, air samples, and water systems (e.g., purified water, clean steam) to ensure sterile and safe manufacturing environments.
  • Quality Assurance (QA): Interpret lab data, identify contamination risks, and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) when anomalies occur.
  • Hygiene & Sanitation: Evaluate cleaning protocols and sanitation practices to maintain strict hygiene standards.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate laboratory logs, prepare compliance reports, and ensure all operations adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or HACCP standards.
  • Support internal audits, inspections, and food safety programs
  • Lab Management: Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment (e.g., autoclaves, incubators) and manage inventory of microbiological media and reagents.
  • Perform all other duties as may be assigned by Management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of HND / BSc Degree in Microbiology or a related biological science discipline
  • 1–3years’ experience in a Microbiologist role within a food manufacturing or laboratory environment
  • Practical knowledge of microbiological testing methods and food safety principles would bean advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to accurately document and report laboratory results
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team

Residency Requirement:

  • Candidates must reside in Sango, Ogun State, or nearby environs.

Salary
N300,000 - N450,000 per month.
