Job Title: HR Associate

Job Summary
- The Human Resources Associate will provide comprehensive support in executing the organization's people strategy and daily HR operations across multiple outlets and business units.
- The role requires a proactive and hands-on professional who can drive recruitment, employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, compliance, and talent development initiatives while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including manpower planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment plans.
- Monitor workforce requirements and recommend solutions to address staffing gaps.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical positions.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and support disciplinary processes in line with company policies.
- Promote employee engagement initiatives that enhance morale, productivity, and retention.
- Support the implementation of culture-building and employee recognition programs.
Performance Management:
- Coordinate performance appraisal cycles and ensure timely completion across departments.
- Monitor employee performance trends and provide reports to management.
- Support the development and implementation of performance improvement plans where necessary.
- Work closely with line managers to ensure accountability and performance excellence.
Learning & Development:
- Identify training needs through performance reviews and operational requirements.
- Coordinate employee training, induction, and development programs.
- Track training effectiveness and maintain learning records.
- Support succession planning and talent development initiatives.
HR Operations & Administration:
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, and personnel files.
- Oversee leave administration, attendance management, and employee documentation.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics for management review.
- Ensure smooth execution of onboarding and exit management processes.
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Support:
- Support payroll administration by ensuring accurate employee data and records.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits and welfare programs.
- Monitor compensation-related documentation and employee records.
Compliance & Policy Administration:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Support the review, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct periodic HR audits to ensure operational and regulatory compliance.
- Manage documentation relating to disciplinary actions, investigations, and compliance matters.
HR Projects & Organizational Development:
- Participate in organizational development initiatives aimed at improving productivity and employee experience.
- Support change management and business transformation projects.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies that support business growth.
- Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, systems, and practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within QSR, retail, hospitality, FMCG, or multi-site operations.
- Professional HR certification (CIPM, HRCI, SHRM, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
