Role Overview

  • We are seeking a highly connected, commercially driven executive to lead revenue generation, market expansion, and strategic partnerships for our insurance aggregation ecosystem.
  • The ideal candidate possesses a formidable network within the Nigerian insurance, HMO, and financial sectors.
  • You will act as the commercial engine of the business, spearheading our go-to-market strategy, securing high-value partnerships, and driving the adoption of embedded insurance models across digital platforms.

Core Responsibilities
Revenue & Commercial Strategy:

  • Develop and execute aggressive growth strategies to drive platform adoption, meet commercial targets, and scale revenue.
  • Identify, pursue, and close lucrative new business opportunities across the insurance, healthcare, and B2B ecosystems.

Strategic Partnerships & Alliances:

  • Forge and manage high-value relationships with Underwriters, HMOs, Brokers, Banks, and Fintechs.
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations, defining commission structures, service-level agreements (SLAs), and partnership frameworks.
  • Champion the adoption ofembedded insuranceby partnering with e-commerce, travel, logistics, and digital platforms to expand our distribution channels.

Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution:

  • Lead the commercial launch and scale-up of the Company’s products.
  • Develop partner acquisition and activation plans, ensuring maximum utilization of the platform by onboarded partners.

Market Intelligence & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new customer segments and product opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product, Tech, and Operations teams, providing market insights to shape the product roadmap and ensure seamless partner onboarding.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Economics, or a related field (An MBA or relevant professional qualification is a strong advantage).
  • Experience: 8–12 years in Business Development, Sales, or Commercial Leadership, with aminimum of 5 years specifically within the Insurance, InsurTech, HMO, or Brokerage sectors.
  • Network: Demonstrable, existing relationships with key decision-makers across the Nigerian insurance and healthcare ecosystems.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of insurance distribution models, embedded insurance, digital platforms, and API-enabled business models.
  • SkillsElite negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities with a highly results-oriented mindset.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The successful candidate will be measured on:

  • Volume and quality of Insurer/HMO/B2B partnerships secured and activated.
  • Measurable growth in platform adoption, transaction volumes, and revenue.
  • Successful expansion and scaling of embedded insurance distribution channels.
