Job Title: Enumerator

Location: Lokoja, Dekina, Kabba-Bunu, Okene, Okehi - Kogi
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 3 days (excluding training)

Description
Baseline Survey for the Support of the Implementation of the Disability Law in Kogi State  (SIDLIK) Project:

  • Learning Through Skill Acquisition Initiative (LETSAI) is seeking qualified and committed individuals to serve as Enumerators for a baseline survey under the Support the Implementation of the Disability Law in Kogi State (SIDLIK) Project.
  • The survey aims to gather baseline data that will support the effective implementation of disability rights and inclusion initiatives across selected Local Government Areas in Kogi State.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct household and community interviews using approved data collection tools.
  • Accurately record and submit survey data.
  • Adhere to research ethics, confidentiality, and safeguarding principles.
  • Participate in enumerator training and debrief sessions.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned survey activities.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an NCE/OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Resident in the LGA for which you are applying.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and relevant local language(s).
  • Previous experience in data collection, surveys, or research will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to use smartphones or tablets for data collection.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience working on development, health, education, disability inclusion, or community-based projects.
