Job Title: Waiter / Waitress

Locations: Surulere & Ebute Meta, Lagos

Job Description

• The Waiter/Waitress will serve as the primary point of contact between guests and the restaurant. The role requires professionalism, efficiency, and a customer-focused attitude to ensure guests receive prompt and satisfactory service.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and attend to guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus and provide information on food and beverage offerings.
• Take customer orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and according to company standards.
• Ensure tables are properly set and maintained at all times.
• Respond promptly to customer requests, inquiries, and complaints.
• Process customer bills and coordinate with cashiers where necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned service areas.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and other service staff to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements
Educational Qualification:

• Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE).
• Additional hospitality or customer service training will be an added advantage.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, lounge, or hospitality environment is an advantage.
• Fresh candidates with a willingness to learn may also be considered.

Other Requirements:

• Must be between 18 and 35 years of age.
• Must reside within or be willing to commute to Surulere, Ebute Meta, or nearby areas in Lagos.
• Must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be willing to work weekends, public holidays, and shift schedules.
• Must demonstrate honesty, reliability, and professionalism.
• Ability to maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance at all times.
