The company operates an integrated oil palm project in Cross River State, Nigeria, covering over 34,000 hectares of plantations and a state-of-the-art palm oil mill. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Carpenter

Location: Mbarakom, Akamkpa Local Government Area - Cross River 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• Responsible for carrying out carpentry, joinery, repair, and maintenance works across the mill, buildings, and other company facilities while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect assigned jobs and take measurements.
• Prepare tools, materials, and fittings.
• Execute repair and installation works.
• Conduct quality checks on completed work.
• Maintain cleanliness and secure work area.
• Return tools and unused materials.
• Report completed tasks and outstanding issues.

• Quality and durability of work

• Compliance with HSE requirements
• Minimal material wastage
• Tool and equipment condition
• Housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent.
• Trade Test Certificate in Carpentry & Joinery is an added advantage.

Experience:

• 1–3 years of experience in carpentry, joinery, or building maintenance.
• Industrial or palm oil mill experience is an advantage.

Technical Knowledge:

• Carpentry and joinery techniques
• Use of hand and power tools
• Roofing and ceiling installation
• Reading drawings and measurements
• Work-at-height safety practices

• May involve overtime, weekend work, and emergency repairs.

Salary
N125,000 - N150,000 monthly.
