We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Storekeeper
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- The Store Keeper is responsible for managing inventory, stock movement, and proper storage of materials within Uncle Stan’s Foods.
- The role also involves accompanying deliveries to outlets to ensure accurate distribution, proper handover, and accountability of all items supplied.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming stock and materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels at all times.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of items in the store.
Stock Control & Monitoring:
- Track stock movement, issuance, and usage across outlets and production.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or low stock promptly.
- Prevent wastage, damage, or loss of inventory.
Delivery & Distribution:
- Accompany delivery of supplies to outlets.
- Ensure correct quantities and items are delivered as issued.
- Confirm proper handover and acknowledgment of stock at each outlet.
- Report any discrepancies during delivery immediately.
Documentation & Record Keeping:
- Maintain proper documentation for all stock transactions (inward and outward).
- Ensure all issued stock is properly recorded and authorized.
- Keep accurate logs of items dispatched to each outlet.
Reconciliation & Reporting:
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with records.
- Report discrepancies, shortages, or inconsistencies.
- Work with the Accountant and Auditor during stock checks.
Compliance & Organization:
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Follow company procedures for handling, storing, and issuing items.
Qualification
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree in a relevant field.
