Job Overview

• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President (VP) of Investment Banking to lead deal origination and execution, manage client relationships, and oversee the development of junior team members.
• Ideal candidate will sit at the centre of our transaction teams, translating strategic ideas into flawless execution for mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and corporate advisory mandates.

Key Responsibilities
Deal Origination:

• Drive deal origination in M&A, Capital Markets, and advisory transactions, including opportunities in the public sector
• Leverage strong collaboration with the Group Managing Director and Board

Deal Execution:

• Lead the day-to-day execution of complex transactions
• Oversee due diligence processes, preparation of marketing materials, and management of virtual data rooms
• Guide transaction structuring for corporate clients (mergers, acquisitions, divestitures)
• Coordinate debt and equity capital market activities

Client Relationship Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate executives and investors
• Lead pitch meetings and present strategic deal ideas
• Support clients in negotiations, including valuation, purchase agreements, and transaction terms

Team Leadership & Oversight:

• Ensure quality control of financial models, valuation analyses, and pitchbooks
• Manage team workflow, assign responsibilities, and enforce strict deal timelines
• Mentor, coach, and conduct performance reviews for Analysts and Associates

Revenue Growth & Strategy:

• Generate actionable insights from market trends, macroeconomic shifts, and sector developments
• Drive business development and new client revenue generation

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or other financial and business disciplines; an MBA from a top-tier business school or and relevant professional
• Min of 4 years as an Investment Banking Associate, or 6–8 years of total relevant financial experience.
• Advanced corporate finance knowledge, expert financial modelling (LBO, DCF, Accretion/Dilution), and deep sector-specific expertise.
• Professional certification in Finance, Accounting or Investments confers advantage
• Strong project management, high emotional intelligence for client management, and the ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure.
