Job Title: Social Media Specialist

Job Summary

  • The Social Media Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating social media performance across all digital platforms.
  • The role involves collecting and interpreting data, identifying trends, generating insights, and recommending strategies to improve brand awareness, audience engagement, and overall digital marketing effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze social media performance across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including engagement rates, reach, impressions, clicks, conversions, and audience growth.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly social media performance reports.
  • Identify audience trends, behaviors, and content performance patterns.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and benchmark performance against industry standards.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve content strategy and campaign effectiveness.
  • Monitor online conversations and audience sentiment regarding the brand.
  • Collaborate with the content creation and digital marketing teams to optimize campaigns.
  • Track paid social media campaigns and evaluate return on investment (ROI).
  • Use social media analytics tools and dashboards to generate insights.
  • Stay updated with social media trends, algorithms, and industry developments.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Statistics, Digital Marketing, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in social media management, analytics, or digital marketing.
  • Relevant certifications in Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Google Analytics, or related fields are an added advantage.
  • Experience using social media analytics and reporting tools.

Salary
N150,000 - N180,000 per month.
