Job Title: Risk and Compliance Officer
Location: Ogere, Ogun
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain risk management policies, procedures, and controls.
- Identify, assess, and monitor operational, financial, strategic, legal, and compliance risks.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards.
- Review and update compliance frameworks to reflect changes in laws and regulations.
- Conduct compliance audits, inspections, and investigations as required.
- Prepare risk and compliance reports for management and relevant stakeholders.
- Investigate compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.
- Facilitate risk awareness and compliance training programs for employees.
- Support business units in implementing effective internal controls.
- Maintain regulatory registers, compliance records, and risk registers.
- Liaise with regulators, auditors, insurers, and external consultants when necessary.
- Monitor emerging risks and provide recommendations to management.
- Assist in business continuity planning and crisis management activities.
