We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Client Relationship Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Client Relationship Officer will be responsible for managing and maintaining strong relationships with retail clients while ensuring an excellent client experience throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • The role will focus on client acquisition, onboarding, retention, and engagement.
  • The ideal candidate must possess strong relationship management, customer service, business development, and client engagement skills, with the ability to attract new clients, onboard them seamlessly, and maintain long-term relationships that contribute to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new retail clients for the firm's products and services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing retail clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, requests, and account-related matters.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Provide timely resolution of client complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly engage clients on market opportunities, investment products, and portfolio enhancement opportunities.
  • Monitor client accounts and proactively identify opportunities to improve client engagement and retention.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, and Business Development teams to ensure excellent service delivery.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Client Relationship Management, Customer Service, Business Development, Sales, Client Onboarding, or Client Acquisition.
  • Experience within a Financial Services Institution is strongly preferred.
  • Professional certification, such as CIS, is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience in client onboarding, customer relationship management, and retail client engagement.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management abilities.
  • Knowledge of KYC and client onboarding processes.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
