We are recruiting to fill the positions below:

Job Title: Fire & Safety Systems Engineer

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot portable and fixed gas detection systems, including combustible, toxic, and oxygen monitoring devices.
  • Maintain and support fire alarm and fire detection systems such as smoke detectors, heat detectors, flame detectors, alarm panels, sounders, and emergency notification systems.
  • Inspect, test, and maintain fire suppression systems including FM200, CO2, deluge, sprinkler, foam, and firewater systems to ensure operational readiness.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, calibration, functional testing, loop checks, and system diagnostics while maintaining accurate inspection and maintenance records.
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA, IEC, OSHA, and other applicable safety standards while supporting audits, shutdowns, commissioning activities, emergency drills, and HSE initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree / HND in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, or related Engineering field.
  • 3-5 years experience in Fire & Gas systems within industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm, gas detection, and fire suppression systems.
  • Familiarity with OEM systems such as Honeywell, Siemens, MSA, Dräger, Det-Tronics, Tyco, or Autronica.
  • Good troubleshooting, reporting, and communication skills.
