We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Fintech Department

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary

• We are looking for an outstanding professional to lead our Fintech Department as we continue to expand our digital transformation efforts.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the development and execution of innovative financial technology solutions that align with our strategic objectives and comply with regulatory standards.
• The role also involves identifying emerging technologies, optimizing financial operations, enhancing customer experience, and creating new revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Fintech strategies aligned with company goals
• Oversee the full product development lifecycle for Fintech products
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions
• Prototype, test, and roll out new Fintech products and services
• Develop financial models and business cases for innovation projects
• Conduct market research and evaluate emerging Fintech trends
• Engage with regulators, vendors, and financial service providers
• Manage departmental budgets, KPIs, and performance targets
• Mentor junior team members on innovation methodologies.

Requirements

• B.Sc Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields
• 10 to 15 years of experience in financial services or technology, with 5+ years in Fintech leadership
• Extensive knowledge of digital payments, mobile banking, AI, Big Data, and blockchain
• Experience with regulators, APIs, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity
• Master’s degree (MBA, MSc in Fintech, etc.) is a plus
• Relevant certifications (CFtP, PMP, FTIP, CFTE, CFA) are desirable.
