Job Summary

• Harvest Feeds and Agro Processing Ltd is seeking an experienced and competent Utility Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of utility systems within the facility.
• The ideal candidate must possess strong technical knowledge of water treatment systems, boiler operations, and power generation/distribution to ensure efficient and uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and maintain water treatment and distribution systems.
• Oversee boiler operations and ensure safe and efficient performance.
• Monitor power generation and distribution systems to ensure continuous supply.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of utility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve utility-related breakdowns and operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of utility operations and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to support plant operations.
• Identify opportunities for energy efficiency and cost reduction.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND / B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in utility management within a manufacturing or processing environment.
• Practical experience in water treatment systems, boiler operations, and power generation / distribution.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Ability to lead teams and work under pressure.
• Proficiency in preparing technical reports and maintenance records.

Added Advantage:

• Professional engineering certification or membership of a relevant professional body.
• Experience in agro-processing, or manufacturing industries.
• Knowledge of energy management and utility optimization techniques.
