We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Tax / Accounting Consultant

Location: Lekki / Ajah Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Tax Consulting & Compliance:

• Prepare, review, and file corporate, personal, and indirect tax returns.
• Advise clients on tax planning strategies and tax-efficient business structures.
• Conduct tax health checks and compliance reviews.
• Represent clients during tax audits, investigations, and engagements with regulatory authorities.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and provide timely updates and recommendations to clients.
• Assist clients in obtaining tax clearance certificates and resolving tax disputes.

Accounting & Financial Advisory:

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Provide bookkeeping, accounting, and financial management support to clients.
• Review accounting records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Advise clients on financial controls, accounting processes, and business performance improvement.
• Support clients with business registration, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance matters.

Client Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Identify opportunities for additional advisory and consulting services.
• Lead client engagements and ensure timely delivery of quality services.
• Mentor and supervise junior consultants and accounting staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, ACTI, CITN, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant experience in tax consulting, accounting, or audit practice.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines.
