Position Overview

• Domfas International Leadership Academy is seeking a highly skilled and passionate English/Diction Educator to join our team.
• This educator will specialize in enhancing students’ mastery of English pronunciation, diction, enunciation, and effective oral communication.
• The ideal candidate will combine expert knowledge of English phonetics with innovative teaching methods to improve students’ clarity, confidence, and articulation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons focused on English diction, including pronunciation, stress, intonation, rhythm, and clarity of speech.
• Assess students’ current diction skills and develop personalized improvement plans.
• Incorporate activities that improve public speaking, reading aloud, and speech presentation skills.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to reinforce proper diction across subjects.
• Conduct speech drills, recitations, and performance exercises to enhance verbal fluency.
• Organize and supervise diction-focused events such as debates, elocution contests, and speech competitions.
• Track and report students’ progress to the Academic Coordinator and parents, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain a dynamic learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence in speaking.
• Stay updated with current trends in phonetics, linguistics, and effective communication strategies.
• Serve as a role model by demonstrating excellent verbal communication and professional etiquette.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Linguistics, Speech Communication, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Certification or formal training in phonetics, diction, speech, or elocution is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience, preferably in advanced English communication or speech programs.
• Exceptional command of English language with flawless pronunciation and diction.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Experience with student assessment, curriculum planning, and classroom management.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and levels.
