We are the first Nigerian-built app that gives parents real-time visibility and control over what their children see and do online. Built for African families. Priced for Nigerian homes. Supported right here. Every day, children across Nigeria are online — watching, scrolling, chatting — while their parents have no idea what they are being exposed to. Most parents want to act. They just need someone to show them how.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Community Activation Associate
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Internship
Job Summary
- We are now recruiting our first team. A small, carefully chosen group of people who will take this app directly into homes, churches, schools, and communities across Nigeria.
- This is not a Desk Job
- You will be our voice on the ground. You will walk up to parents, show the app on a real phone, activate free trials, and stay with them until they subscribe — and keep subscribing.
Responsibilities
Your first two weeks are intensive. You will:
- Install and test both the parent and child app on real devices
- Record step-by-step video walkthroughs of the setup process for new subscribers
- Launch a tracked social media campaign using the official Kinwatch hashtag
- Produce marketing content reviewed and approved by the team
- Run live online support calls — handling real subscriber questions
- Build a comprehensive FAQ document from your hands-on experience
- Write your own SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) from what you discover
- Complete the full new-subscriber onboarding flow, first contact to first active day
- Master troubleshooting on the budget Android and iOS devices Nigerian parents actually use
- Create short-form social videos showing real app usage for parents who are still deciding
- Simulate parent-child scenarios to understand every edge case of the app before the public does
- Advocates who complete the programme with distinction are considered immediately for expanded responsibilities and are first in line for full-time roles as Kinwatch scales.
Who we are looking for
We are asking: are you this person?
- You pick up a phone and figure it out — apps, settings, troubleshooting — without waiting for someone to help you
- You explain technology patiently and clearly to someone who is not tech-savvy — a parent, a teacher, a pastor
- You are consistently active on WhatsApp, Instagram, or TikTok and you understand what makes Nigerians stop and watch
- You walk into churches, estates, and school gates and speak to strangers — and people actually listen
- You genuinely care about children being safe online. Not as a talking point. As something you feel.
- You show up without being chased. You want to build something, not just collect a stipend.
- You are hungry. You want to earn well. And you will work for it.
- School leavers, undergraduates, graduates, corps members, and self-taught digital enthusiasts are all considered equally.
- Your hustle and your skill are what qualify you.
What you leave with
- Candidates should possess an FSLC / SSCE / OND / NCE / B.Sc Degree with 0 - 2 years work experience
- Certified Kinwatch Digital Child Safety Advocate — valid for CVs, NYSC portfolios, and LinkedIn
- Real, documented experience in field sales, community marketing, app support, and content creation from Day 1
- LinkedIn recommendation from Kinwatch leadership for top performers
- First-in-line pathway to full-time employment as Kinwatch expands across Nigeria and into other African markets
- The chance to become a named Kinwatch Ambassador — a recognised face of digital child safety in your city.
What this role pays
- Salary: N35,000 - N70,000 per month.
- This role is performance-based and competitively rewarded.
- You receive a monthly support stipend, a remote work allowance, subscriber commissions, a retention bonus, and a top performer bonus. Full details are shared with shortlisted candidates.
Application Closing Date
