Job Description

• Our client is looking to hire aDeputy Head of School who will support the Head of School in the institution's overall leadership, administration, and academic excellence.
• The ideal candidate will combine strong classroom experience with proven administrative capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day management and coordination of school activities.
• Support academic planning, curriculum implementation, and quality assurance.
• Supervise and mentor teaching staff to ensure high teaching standards.
• Monitor student progress and ensure effective learning outcomes.
• Enforce school policies and maintain discipline among students and staff.
• Coordinate staff meetings, training, and professional development programs.
• Assist in parent engagement and communication.
• Step in for the Head of School when required.

Requirements

• Must be resident in Abuja, FCT.
• 8–10 years of experience in education, with a blend of classroom teaching and administrative roles.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant educational qualifications (Education degree, PGDE, or equivalent).
• Experience in a structured school environment (Montessori experience is an added advantage).
• Knowledge of blended curriculum and ability to integrate multiple curricula effectively.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for academic excellence and child development.

Salary
N250,000 monthly (Negotiable).
