Job Title: Lubrication Technician
Location: Ashaka, Gombe
Employment Type: Full-time (Onsite)
About the Role
- The primary objective of the Lubrication Technician is to lubricate the plant equipment and ensure lubrication units are in good working condition to improve the plant performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the lubrication of all the plant equipment
- Records some possible anomalies observed on the equipment while lubrication is being carried out
- Monitor the stock of Lubricants and inform the Lube Supervisor on a weekly basis
- Records the consumption of oils and greases dispensed
- Maintain good house-keeping and safety around lubrication environment premises
- Safe storage and disposal of used/dirty rags
Requirements
Educational Qualification:
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, UCDI, NTC/NBC-NABTEC
Experience:
- 2 years working experience in same industry or any heavy industry operations.
- Experience in heavy engineering, including rotating machines equipment maintenance, condition monitoring, in a refinery, power or heavy process plant
Required skills:
- Very conversant with cement plant equipmentGood definition of technical standards and Lubrication applications
