Job Summary
- We are seeking a hardworking, dependable, and proactive Janitor to join our team in Isheri, Ogun State. While the primary responsibility of this role is to ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment, we are specifically looking for an individual with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
- The ideal candidate should be reasonably educated, street-smart, trustworthy, and capable of taking initiative.
- Beyond janitorial duties, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to support basic administrative and office operations and may be developed into a broader administrative/support role based on performance, commitment, and potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of offices, restrooms, common areas, and company premises.
- Sweep, mop, dust, sanitize, and ensure a hygienic working environment at all times.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages when necessary.
- Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain proper waste management procedures.
- Assist with office errands, document deliveries, and basic administrative support tasks.
- Support staff with routine office-related activities when required.
- Ensure facilities and office equipment are kept clean and presentable.
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damages promptly.
- Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and workplace procedures.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE/OND qualification.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Previous janitorial, office assistant, or support staff experience is an added advantage.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physically fit, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Honest, reliable, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
- Demonstrated potential for career growth and professional development.
Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 per month (Open).
