We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Representative

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Attend to customers on the shop floor promptly, courteously, and professionally, providing accurate product information and guiding purchasing decisions.
• Actively drive in-store sales by promoting products, upselling, and ensuring customers are aware of available options, offers, and new stock.
• Maintain full product knowledge across all categories on the shop floor; stay updated on new arrivals, promotions, and pricing changes.
• Ensure shelves, display units, and product sections are fully stocked, neatly arranged, and properly labelled at all timesincluding during overnight shifts.
• Monitor shelf stock levels continuously and escalate replenishment needs to the Inventory Officer or Supervisor promptly to prevent empty shelves.
• Ensure all displayed products are correctly priced and that shelf labels match POS pricing; report any discrepancies immediately.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally; escalate unresolved issues to the Supervisor without delay.
• Conduct regular shelf checks to identify expired, near-expiry, damaged, or misplaced products and report immediately for removal or action.
• Support stock counts, periodic audits, and store-wide inventory exercises as directed.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing shop floor environment throughout every shift.
• Enforce store policies on the floor including orderly conduct, product handling, and loss prevention awareness.
• Prepare and submit accurate end-of-shift floor activity reports to the Supervisor.
• Comply with all store operational procedures, safety standards, and shift schedules including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification of an SSCE
• Must reside in Lekki, Ajah, or immediate environs OR be willing to take up staff accommodation where available.
• This is a strict and non-negotiable requirement.
• Warm, friendly, and confident customer-facing manner; ability to engage customers professionally at all times.
• Good spoken and written English; clear and respectful communication is required.
• Smart, neat, and professional appearance must be maintained throughout every shift.
• Basic numerical literacy; ability to read price labels, check quantities, and identify discrepancies.
• Prior experience in a retail, sales, or customer service environment is a strong advantage.
• Energetic, physically active, and comfortable being on the shop floor for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays in a 24-hour operation.
• A team player with a proactive attitude and genuine willingness to support colleagues across functions.
• High personal integrity; responsible handling of products and honest conduct at all times.
